About Chef Shayla

I'm a stay-at-home mom with a wonderful husband and an 19-month-old little girl.  Cooking has always been an important part of my life.  I began cooking at the age of 10.  With a rich Creole heritage and the fact that I grew up in New Orleans, a city known for it's great food, I was able to pick up a lot of skills in the area of cooking.  

Over the past few years, I have provided catering service to family, friends, and their co-workers.  I've received many compliments about the taste and the presentation of my food and this gave me a desire to do food service as a career.
